Whats going on with VSC, Has there been seriously no approval in last 3 days ????? This just seems unbelievable to me. Are they even open or they gone on a work stoppage or something ?

Someone has any idea ??

4/4/2011 - I129F received by USCIS (Priority date)

4/5/2001 - Post Office Return Receipt signed by USCIS

4/6/2011 - USCIS receipt date

4/7/2011 - Received e-mail/text NOA1

4/8/2011 - Touched

4/12/2011 - Receipt received via snail mail (I797C)

8/29/2011 - Received email/text NOA2

9/2/2011 - NVC received (no NVC # assigned yet)

9/2/2011 - Received hardcopy of NOA2

9/6/2011 - NVC Havana case number assigned

9/16/2011 - NVC forwarded case to Havana

9/19/2011 - NVC generated informational letter to me

9/23/2011 - Received letter from NVC via snail mail

10/6/2011 - Packet received by US Interest Section in Havana

10/18/2011 - Amel received telegram advising him when to pick up packet

12/05/2011 - Amel had blood work and x-rays done in preparation for medical examination

12/12/2011 - Amel picked up packet of forms at the USINT in Havana.

01/10/2012 - Amel had his medical exam today.

03/01/2012 - Interview: APPROVED!

03/20/2012 - Visa received.

3/23/2012 - Carta blanca, etc. requested

What's not really fair is that other centers are going faster. There should at least be some consistency right?

Please people, we are talking about a relationship and this wait is just longggggg :(.

Hopefully they wake up very efficiently tomorrow! :) Let's continue praying.

Your right there is no consistency. One day they give out 5 to 8 approvals and another nothing for 3 to 4 days. I need they need to privatize the USCIS and hopefully they can work better.

03/16/11 - I-129F Packet Sent to Texas lockbox via USPS (2-day)

03/18/11 - confirmed delivery to lockbox via usps

03/22/11 - NOA1 issued

03/24/11 - Received email re: application was received and forwarded to VSC and NOA1 mailed out

03/24/11 - Check cashed

03/28/11 - Received NOA1 hardcopy by mail

03/29/11 - "Touched"

05/05/11 - Baby flew home :(

08/10/11 - NOA2 (07/21/11 - 08/03/11 - possible NOA2 estimated dates)

08/13/11 - NOA2 hardcopy received via mail

08/24/11 - Received email response w/ NVC case #

08/29/11 - Called NVC - advised our case is under additional processing :S

VJ makes up a tiny portion of the actual filers. Just because no one came online and reported that they were approved or no one that was using VJ was approved does not mean that VSC did not have any approvals at all.

VJ is not the entire world there are 100s of thousands of people that do not use VJ that are at VSC.

Your I-129f was approved in 5 days from your NOA1 date.

Your interview took 67 days from your I-129F NOA1 date.

AOS was approved in 2 months and 8 days without interview.

ROC was approved in 3 months and 2 days without interview.

VJ is not the entire world there are 100s of thousands of people that do not use VJ that are at VSC.

I agree with what you said, but what are the odds of no one from VJ getting an approval for 4 days where as there has been at-least 1 or 2 everyday for the last 8 to 10 weeks i guess.

I know what your saying this VJ is not the entire USCIS K1 filing community but i am sure we make at-least up 5 to 7 % of it and this still a fairly good number to get an idea according to me how they are working.

I'm seriously start to think that Homer Simpson is in charge of VSC..this sluggishness can only come from someone like him. . .

I guess Homer Simpson at-least turned upto work ( even through he didn't want to ) lol but VSC seems to go on summer holidays. Maybe they think 4th July this week lol

Some one need to remind them its over.

Not trying to pick on anyone but is it just me or do other in my shoes believe that people who have just recently filed or received their NOA2's seem more defendant of the USCIS center's ???

I personally feeling this is a trend? lol Maybe thats just my theory

I agree. I watch the posts here on VJ and I also watch Igor's list everyday. I realize that those of us on VJ make up only a percentage of the total amount of filers, but it does seem odd that not one of us on VJ has been approved in the past few days. I also realize that there may be VJ'ers who haven't updated their timelines yet. But still, it's a little bit discouraging when it appears that VSC has been silent for several days :( I guess we just need to stay optimistic :)

Actually they do use contractors. If you call customer service and get a tier 1 its a contractor using an FAQ script. I'm sure that doesn't make you feel any better. We waited 6 months for NOA2 out of VSC and I remember how bad it sucked. Be patient and that text/email will come and then you get to wait some more.
