Hi,

I am a new member to the forum, but I have been faithfully checking the posts in VJ. I am currently filing my DS-260 with the NVC to get an interview appointment at the Montreal office.

While I am filing the DS-260 form, there is this question about the petitioner for my wife. I know that my petitioner is my employer, but what about hers? Am I her petitioner for her case, or my employer is her petitioner? My first instinct is that my employer is both of our petitioner.

It really throw me off when the form has a selection of the petitioner as "The petitioner is MY: {selection}", since my employer isn't her employer.

Response will be greatly appreciated.
