Have you tried congressional inquiry?? Maybe it's time.

My case just finally got to NVC 15 days later, and now they are telling me it will take 10-20 business days for it to be entered into the system. gerrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr

No. I haven't tried a congressional inquiry and I'm not going to. With all the problems in the country, even in the congressional district I live in - I figure my representative has more pressing issues than mine.

ironically, I met my Congressman and his wife in a grocery store a few years ago and we had a 30 minute discussion in the check out line. I vote for a different political party, but he seemed like a nice enough guy.

It's just soooo frustrating to be so close to the NOA-2 and see no movement lately. Really, not much has happened since before Thanksgiving and I doubt much more will be done until after Jan 1. Even in my own office I need to remind my employees that we still have work to do...

Such is life when waiting for ANY government agency to get moving.

My fiancé called USCIS yesterday because Wednesday was our five month mark waiting for NOA 1 (July 14). They told him that CSC is processing visas from June 16 now and we won't be able to put in a service request until they reach and pass July 14. I am just so sad because I was hoping for some good news or at least to be able to put in a service request. I guess no good news before the holidays for me :(

I know how you feel because I am in the same boat. I would rather people who filed in June get approved before us because that is only fair. I dread having to wait an additional month before any action gets done, but all of us are very close. I've come to the realization that I won't get to see my fiance for another 3-4 months, but once we are together, there is nothing that can tear our relationship apart!!

July 13, 2012: NOA received via email & text

July 16, 2012: Checked cashed

July 19, 2012: Received hard copy Form I-797C in the mail

July 21, 2012: Biometrics letter arrived by mail

July 31, 2012: AOS trransferred to CSC

Aug. 07, 2012: Biometrics completed

I agree. There are still June filers waiting and I have no problems with those that FINALLY get approved before I do.

What I will NEVER understand is the August and September filers that have their NOA-2's. Of course some qualify for expedites, but as always there is no rhyme or reason to USCIS processing.

They say first in first processed, but it's B.S.

Hope we all get our NOA-2 soon. I'm betting on right after New Years.

I know! Waiting for five months already feels like torture but there are many June filers and even May filers that have not been approved yet. So I guess I have no reason to complain yet :) The wait is just so hard. I also do not understand that people from October already get approved. I am really happy for them, do not get me wrong, but it just seems to be unfair. Ow well. Not much we can do about it ;) Just stay patient.

The entire system in unfair and if you believe otherwise you are just fooling yourself. The fluctuations in processing times is ridiculous and the fact that you'll never get an honest answer from USCIS is all you need to know to show just how poorly run USCIS is.

Thanks for the kind words, I truly appreciate it. Day 157 and still no touch...

Today was Fresy's birthday and honestly, I really had thought she'd be here by now or at latest - Christmas. It truly is sad we're apart for her birthday and we'll be apart for Christmas and New Years.

For my birthday last month Fresy sent me a beautiful floral arrangement to my office. It was amazing to look at, but not as beautiful as Fresy. Today her birthday gift sits on the dining room table, her Christmas gifts sit under the tree.

I made up my mind. USCIS is not going to fu_k up our first Christmas together. The tree will stay up until my girl is here to open her gifts with me in person. I refuse to let USCIS win!

NOA-2 quest still ongoing. Now on day 160. Called CSC just for $hits and kicks, got the canned response - I'm still within normal processing guidelines. I said "hmmm, how can I be within normal processing guidelines when the USCIS.Gov site says 5 months and I haven't even had a touch in over 5 months?"

I also asked the rep why no one has even bothered to touch my petition, but others who've filed more than a month later then me have already received their NOA-2's and have interview dates. Again - no good answer from the rep.

I thanked her for her time and wished her a wonderful holiday with her family. I also asked her if I could dine with her family because thanks to the ####### USCIS dishes out, my family is still in Costa Rica.

Thanks bro... Really can't believe that NOA-2 STILL hasn't come. I was looking at Igor's list and I clicked "back" because I was getting pissed at all the approvals for petitioners who filed after I did. I'm not mad at the filers, just don't understand why NO July approvals in almost a week, but August and a couple of SEPTEMBER approvals came through.

Pretty good thing I am so far away from CSC....

Sadly, I'm geographically closer to Vermont than to California.. yet. California is where my app is.. It WILL happen... just think like Dorrie the fish and sing  "It will happen .. it will happen.. it will happen happen happen.

(I know.. it's not working for me either

Well...

With your RFE at least you know human (ok - not human, a USCIS employee) hands touched your petition.

At this point I'd settle for a grope if I can't have a touch. This wait is getting (actually has gotten) ridiculous already.

Hello fellow July filers!

This evening my fiance and I just received email notification that we received our NOA2. 151 days of patience. We're thankful and happy. I saw that others with dates close to mine have also received their NOA2's...congratulations. The journey continues. The Visa Journey continues.

Cheers
