Hello,

Has anyone printed out their Skype call history and if so how? I mean a record of the video chats, not phone calls. I don't see anywhere on Skype where this is an option, but there has been a thread in the past about using a file exporter. Is there a faster way other than copy and paste?

Did you keep record of calls? If so, you can hit the archives and cut and paste the conversation. but skype does not go back far. So, you have to do it in just a few weeks of conversation like printing it out just after the call is made. If you have vista operating system, sometimes it does not allow you to do this. Vista is the only bad one.

If you go to your most recent Skype conversation with your fiance through the 'Recent' tab, keep scrolling up and then you'll find: 'Show messages from: yesterday - 7 days- 30 days- 3 months- 6 months- 1 year- from beginning".. Click 'from beginning' and then basically take screenshots of your conversations and the dates.

I am not sure if you activated that option in your Skype software from the beginning..

Another option is click Conversations from the upper tab ===> View Old Conversations ===> From Beginning.

Good luck! :)

I used Skype Log View.. worked very well.

http://www.nirsoft.net/utils/skype_log_view.html

Hi,

Thanks for the tip....I downloaded this and it shows all the calls. I saved the log as a Word document, and thought I would print it out to send as evidence for his interview. The problem is, since I talk to my fiance every day, it came out to be over 1800 pages to print it!! Did you print out your log and how did it work out for you?

Haha! Yeah i had the same problem. All I did was copy just the phone calls, then I put a little note in with the paperwork saying "we also chat on Skype for hours every day"

She told me they did not look at much of her evidence though. I guess it was not really needed.
