Oh, I am soooo very sorry to hear that. I will keep praying for you, Michelle. Some say a second RFE is a good thing, as with William33. He was approved a few days afterwards. My I inquire what was this for?

We don't know yet. I got the email - I'm waiting for my fiance to get home from work and check the mail.

Now I'm doubting our entire file and I'm questioning a dozen things we did.

I used to think they cast lots there to see who wanted to take on my case, and it was the janitor who ended up with it.

Getting an RFE is not the greatest thing to happen, however, from this point it can speed up your approval.

When you get the RFE, turn it around as fast as possible.

When you send the RFE evidence back, send it USPS Express.

On the front and back of the USPS provided document Envelope, write the following: ATTN:RFE in red marker.

This is the information on the RFE envelope supplied by CSC.

You may want to write your case number on the envelope, as well.

It will then move through CSC very fast!

My approval was 2 days after CSC receipt.

I project an approval for you within 10 days, surmising you get the RFE within a few days and that the requested evidence is easy to acquire.

So we received the RFE in the mail. The want more evidence of us meeting in person during the 2 years prior to filing.

Ironic thing is we have seen each other so many times that we didn't give it that much thought with the original application - I hadn't come across VJ at that time at we didn't consider an adjudicator's point of view.

I've been to LA about 10 times, we've met in Hawaii twice, my man has been down to Australia 3 times. But during the 6 years we've known each other we haven't been collecting 'evidence'. We've just been enjoying our time together.

When we're together we're usually alone and I can't find a photo of us together during the 2 year period. I have photos he took of me, and then photos I took of him at exactly the same landmarks. I'm hoping some photos like this, along with passport immigration stamps and bank statements showing purchases overseas will suffice.

I have not kept boarding passes or hotel receipts. I tend to bin things than file them!!

Do you think I will meet their requirements???

They would only have to check their computer to see the dozen I-94 cards I have filled in and my fiance's home address as my address while in US. I know they know!!!!

No, Maam, I wish I could say I was. I received the same RFE , the proof of meeting. But lets not get into that now, I think you will be approved and you do not have to worry. Just send what you have and anything else inbetween, and quickly, as you do not want any more precious time wasted. Mark your return envelope in red ATTN : RFE, and include your case number. That will help speed things up.

Absolutely! The good thing is that your case will be looked at again when you return the RFE. So this could turn out to be a very good thing barring the fact that you don't have your approval yet. However, I'm betting that you will have it very soon.

Nope, I only want my approval and to see others get theirs. As for any money, please support any causes that include animals or the spreading the word of God.

Ouch Uling. You're saying 20 days for me? That sucks - William33 got his approval 2 days after sending in RFE. How come I've got such bad odds?!!!
