hello vj's!

i will soon move to ky sometime this month...together with my daughter.

i wonder how many months before i can apply for a job?and how many months before i will be allowed to drive?

by the way,im a k1 filer.i am a graduate of bachelor of science in hotel and restaurant management with some units in master in management.as of this moment i am managing a family internet cafe business and have my own fried chcken store.i am an NCII passer for house keeping and commercial cooking.

any suggestion will be highly appreciated.

When you enter the US you have 90 days to marry. After you marry you can apply for AOS. When you apply for AOS you can also apply for your work authorization document. When you either have the work authorization document OR your green card, you can start working

suggest you get an SSN 2 weeks after poe date (use advanced search tool, terms 'SSN SSA SAVE' for more steps)

then after you marry, file the AOS packet with the EAD (free to file)

usually 3 months after filing the AOS packet, EAD is approved, then you can work.

total time from POE date? hard to guess, most depends on when you file the AOS packet.

Sometimes my language usage seems confusing - please feel free to 'read it twice', just in case !
Ya know, you can find the answer to your question with the advanced search tool, when using a PC? Ditch the handphone, come back later on a PC, and try again.
