Yes, and if you did further investigation, you'd know that Rachel & Sammy's timeline is way off--either due to manual entry error or HUGE delay in CSC. Click on their ACTUAL time to see what the true dates are:

I-129F Sent : 2006-03-29

I-129F NOA1 : 2006-07-03

They submitted their I-129F 3/29/06 then supposedly received their NOA1 7/3/06.

I would suggest doing real research before speading mis-information.

My suspicions is all putative approvals with a NOA1 date of July are quite suspect. Probably user entry errors.

The poster you reference to in the above link also has a different true dates:

2006 JUN 21 I-129F received in TSC (xferred right away to CSC)

2006 JUL 11 check cashed

2006 JUL 13 NOA1

2006 SEP 12 NOA2 got the email!!!!!! WOOOOOOHOOOOOOO

It was received by TSC on 6/21/06. So they really have a real effective NOA1 of 6/22/06, not a JULY NOA1 date.

What does your NOA1 actually say as your REDEIVED DATE? and NOTICE DATE?

Does it say 8/5/06 or 7/13/06.

You best heed Ben's advise yourself. I bet the RECEIVE date on your NOA1 is NOT 8/5/06.

So no, you're still wrong. That person's RECEIVE date is 6/21/06 so her/her REAL NOA1 date is in June, not July.

mrc, I'm not suggesting the date you post your petition in the mail as your NOA1 date, but the date the service centers receive your petition is considered the NOA1 date. As you sent yours on 6/30, I would not consider that date to be your NOA1 date, but your NOA1 should have a RECEIVED DATE, and that is your true NOA1 date. That is the date they sort by when choosing which petition to adjudicate next.

From CSC itself:

Applications are stamped with the time and date of physical receipt, not the time and date they are actually opened.

That's a little tricky then...I know TSC received it on the 5th of July but CSC received it on the 10th of July after the transfer. I'm sure that person was in the same boat which would put their CSC date sometime in July. After all, isn't it the CSC date that counts?

If that is the case, you guys--TSC and NSC petitioners--are really getting screwed! The date your original SC received your petition should be the RECEIVED date and that is the date they should be using when choosing which petition to adjudicate next. If they are giving you a RECEIVE date based on when CSC received the transfer from TSC, then that's #######. That's even more delays for you guys--as if CSC wasn't slow enough already.

Total BS. All I can say is I feel for ya!

From CSC itself:

http://www.uscis.gov/graphics/fieldoffices...nal/index.htm#E

Applications are stamped with the time and date of physical receipt, not the time and date they are actually opened.

If you would read a bit more carefully you would see that 8/5/06 is when I got it from the mailbox.

they took delivery of my petition on 7/19/06 but the RECEIVED date is 7/27/06 and the NOA1 date is 7/28/06.

So NO, YOU are still wrong there has been at least one approval, why do you persist in stealing hope from these people?

Being wrong does not make a person foolish, being wrong and trying to convince everyone else they are instead...now thats another story.
