On July 25, 2011, we mailed you a notice that we have approved this I129F PETITION FOR FIANCE(E). Please follow any instructions on the notice. If you move before you receive the notice, call customer service at 1-800-375-5283.

For approved applications/petitions, post-decision activity may include USCIS sending notification of the approved application/petition to the National Visa Center or the Department of State. For denied applications/petitions, post-decision activity may include the processing of an appeal and/or motions to reopen or reconsider and revocations.

WHEN SHOULD I CALL THE NVC OFFICE?

Congratulations on your approval. You should have to give almost a week after arrival of the hard copy (NOA-2) to call NVC. These days NVC is far behind so that you might wait up to a month to hear anything from tham.

Good luck

The requested documents were sent via FEDEX and delivered on July 12th. I have not seen any update on the USCIS.GOV site with reference to the RFE.

Just curious if I should be calling TIER 2 or not..

I have not heard anything back from VSC either.

Just a heads up guys.... I believe the RFE has to do with individaul adjudicators. My RFE was ddelivered on 7/22/2011 and today 7/26/2011 i got an update via email and text stating the case had been updated on the USCIS website. That was pretty quick if you ask me...It may not be the norm though. Some get NOA2 without any updates.

I think VSC is picking up on the K-1 petitions and is slowing down on the CR1

There is a bunch of K-1 approvals in the last couple of days from VSC but no CR1's

I wish i can get my approval by the end of the month so i can send all documents to NVC before i go ans see my spouse. Our case resumed processing 7 days ago and nothing yet

Good luck and wish you a speedy NOA2
