Hello everyone,

Thanks again for all the helpful information on this forum!

I have a quick question. I received my EAD card last week. Do I need to reapply for a replacement SSN card, and if so, is there a certain wait period prior to reapplying for one?

Thank you!

K.

I would wait to update until you have your GC, because the one you get with EAD will still say "not valid without authorization."

The number you already have is your number for life. Good luck.

AOS for my husband
8/17/10: INTERVIEW DAY (day 123) APPROVED!!

ROC:
5/23/12: Sent out package
2/06/13: APPROVED!
