Hello VJ ..

I just tried logging into nvc portal and I got a Sign In Fail.. I called them and they told me they have received all my documents and are doing a final review and I should call by Friday for an update..

I don't wanna get my hopes up to much but I was wondering what is the probability of gettn an RFe durring this stage

Impossible to say but fairly small. Generally when you get sign in fail it means they have confirmed that they have everything they need and are reviewing it. You would get an RFE if something is incorrect or incomplete. It shouldn't take very long for the final review to be completed. A matter of days rather than weeks so you'll know pretty quickly if there is an issue.

Hopefully this is the sign in failure that most of the NVC process completed guys get. While you are right in not being too optimistic, I would like to congratulate you. You can be happy now and rejoice this coming Friday.

USA

01/08/13 - Approved and GC is order for production on 1/8/14

09/12/13 - Case transferred to CSC. NOA2 received on 09/18/13

08/30/13 - Biometrics Done - No walk ins allowed at this LSC (received on 8/16/13).

08/05/13 - NOA1 (received on 08/10/13)

08/01/13 - Mailed I-751 (received on 8/2/13 - check cashed on 8/5/13)

12/28/11 - Received SSN (applied on 12/20/11, as we didn't get based on DS-230 options)
11/28/11 - Received Green Card (Expires on 10/30/13) - Welcome Letter on 11/17/11
10/30/11 - POE - Houston, TX

Chennai Consulate (40 days)
10/28/11 - Received Visa papers and Passport at VFS
10/25/11 - Interview Cleared Successfully (Spouse was not allowed in)

NVC: (90 days from NOA2 to Consulate)
08/31/11 - Case Completed (Interview 10/25/11) - Received at Chennai on 09/19/11
07/22/11 - NVC Case Number

USCIS: (92 days)

6/21/11 - NOA2 (NOA1 on 3/25/11) - took a month to get to NVC
3/21/11 - I-130 sent to USCIS Lockbox, Chicago.

When I got my SIF I also called the automated number at NVC and it said case was completed....

Not always true because it still say in the AVR about the package that was supposed have been sent. I called today because I got my SIF and called them that its in final review. So I hope that email comes super soon like now!!!

Hi!

Just wondering how will i log in at NVC portal coz im waiting to hear case complete and so will get ready to go..

When you try to log in you get a red box with text...

Just an update.. I called NVC today and my case is complete.. They told me to call back July 19th for an interview date but they couldn't get me any July dates..

I know Nigeria is backed up but not as bad as Ghana so am thinking I may not get an interview till October but am hopping for September date if luck is oon my side..
