Hi guys,

i was wondering if you have to have a return ticket when entering the USA on a IR1 visa?

I am asking 'cos pdx-ams-pdx is $300 cheaper than ams-pdx-ams.

Thanks.

You don't have to, but if you are thinking about using 2nd leg of your pdx-ams-pdx flight only, keep in mind that if you do not show up on pdx-ams flight, your ticket will be cancelled (assume you want to travel ams-pdx).

hmm, good to know, thanks for the answer.

Buy whichever is cheaper or the best itinerary but yes, you must use the first leg of any round trip ticket.

Facts are cheap...knowing how to use them is precious...
