Guys I know its frustrating, and I dont mean to get in anyone's heads with the statements.

I wish you all the best. I really do hope this CSC delays get sorted out so that my fellow VJers (and others in this boat who are not on VJ) in this journey of immigration visas get to be with their loved ones as soon as possible.

Please keep it cool.

Call up your embassy. I did have the same problem as you and it turns out my petition was already at the embassy, even tho i heard no word from NVC for a month. USCIS sent my petition to NVC on june 7th. It seems that everyone from start to mid june has this problem. So just call up your embassy, im 90% sure your petition is there already. They do process it at NVC quite quickly, but they are late with sending NOA to you. So call up your embassy, your petition should be there already.

Did you ever call the NVC throughout that month of waiting? Cause a lot of us have been calling and have been told by workers there that our stuff "has not" or "just was" received by the NVC. I haven't received any actual notice from the NVC yet, but because I called I now know that they just received my NOA2 after a month... the embassy doesn't have mine yet (hopefully soon though :) ); the NVC still has it.

I share the frustration voiced by others over the long delays in this process. What gets me is that this is not a tax payer funded service. It is supported by the application fees. I'd gladly pay a little more so they could hire enough people to get this done in a reasonable amount of time.

Anyway, I don't want to discourage anyone but there's another delay with the NVC. Like it says on NVC guide, once NVC receives the case they have to generate case number and IIN number so you can submit the DS3032. You must get all this done before you can pay the fees and submit the AOS.

Here's my status so far:

NOA2 received, but NVC said it didn't receive package from USCIS >

I waited the 15 business days as instructed and emailed a copy of NOA2 to NVCresearch@state.gov >

NVC received my case the next day >

Then NVC says wait up to 8 weeks for email with IIN and DS3032 kit >

On advice from VJ, I called again and operator gave me my case number and IIN >

Operator stated I should have the DS3032 email in a day or two.

That's where I am now. Good luck to everyone!

That's not the way it works when you are filing for your spouse. The process is much more complicated. You submit several forms and packages that they request and your case is worked at the NVC. Your case can't be sent to the embassy without first paying for your visa fee and your affidavit of support fees and required documents. This is why we are so impatient. :crying:

Yesterday I was told to e-mail my NOA2 to nvcresearch. I got the automated reply, but no other reply yet. It's been 24 hours... so I just called and spoke to an operator. They said I should wait a few days to get an e-mail response. I also requested to speak to a tier 2 employee, and she said that my e-mail to nvcresearch was the same level as a tier 2 employee. Sounds like bs! Oh well, I'll keep calling!!

good luck to all!
