I understand that we are A LOT of people here at visa journey sailing in the same boat, both for spouse visa and fiance visa. From what Ive seen not anybody approved after June 10 at california service center have received their cases at NVC, Am I right? Ive tried to stay calm but today I feel so sad and frustrated. When will they receive our cases?? So many people have getting theirs in 1-2 weeks, are uscis and nvc on vacation or what is the problem? And NOTHING is getting better with unbelieveble RUDE staff at USCIS and NVC when you ask for help. I have the luck of having my husband here with me in Sweden right now, but we are both getting stressed for his visa here to expire. And I suffer EVEN MORE for all of them that are waiting for this when they are apart.

Lets pray for received cases soon! And if anybody have any theories of why its taking so long feel free to let me know! And everybody who is waiting, lets keep each other updated.

Love Emelie

Hi, I share the same feeling with you!!! :( you know we got our NOA2 06/03/11, so even a bit earlier than yours....I saw ppl getting case number in 1-2 weeks and I felt so frustrated...call didn't help...except last one. My fiance Justin caled to NVC last time 07/05/11 and they said that our case is IN system (they gave us new number) and it will be sent to Russia within 3 bus.days....lets see it's a week passed...still no notification from nvc that our case have been sent :( to cut long story short...it took 1 month from NOA2 to geting the case to NVC and geting knew number. Lets stay patient!

Did you write to NVC? sometimes it's even better then to call. If you didn't do this to NVCINQUIRY@state.gov

I'm still waiting too. Tomorrow marks 6 weeks since NOA2. Our senator was able to ascertain that our petition was still in the USCIS mailroom. Who after a call to them I discovered USCIS has 90 days to forward petitions to NVC. If that's the case, I'm halfway there. :(

I also got my NOA2 on 6/13 from CSC. After the 15 business days I filed an inquiry by emailing a copy of the NOA2 to NVC. The next day they "received" it. I think they just have bundles of unopened or unsorted mail and are backlogged. It may be because of the summer vacation season. Anyway, call them and send the inquiry.

And all this stuff about waiting 6 weeks or 90 days is a total fabrication. This is nowhere in the government regulations. They just make up these numbers to keep complaints away. Unfortunately, most Congressional representatives fall for it and don't push these agencies to be more responsive.

So far, I've submitted an inquiry that told me as of June 15 my petition was en route to the NVC, my senator was told last week that my petition is still at the USCIS and my lawyer was told the same. Now it's time to start harassing the USCIS...

Sorry guys, your waiting is longer then mine. However I see one 6/15 NOA2 CSC case has been received at NVC on 7/8 (based on VJ update). I sincerely hope the CSC mailroom guys don't use the LIFO technilogy (Last In First Out) - we need FIFO technology (First In First Out) for fairness.

I wish you are the very best and hope the same for self.

Mine took about 17 business days, or 23 "regular" days from NOA2 to getting my case number. I found out afterwords that they had received it on the 1st of July but it took them about a week to get it into the system. (not sure how they knew they 'had it' but still wasn't in the system yet? lol)

Got NOA 2 on the 14th of June, then finally got my case number on the 7th of July. I'd give it another week or so if you folks haven't gotten any word then start calling and doing this: :bonk:

If it goes too long without any word of your case the operator can have you send a copy of your NOA2 in the email to their office.

Please don't flame me for posting the following but I'd like to point something out to those who were approved in June time frame above and have waited less than 5 months between NOA1 and NOA2.

CSC is already fast enough in approving these petitions. There is a slight delay in getting these approved petitions to the NVC. I know the timeframe is a bit out of normal. I don't think its completely out of the ordinary for these applications to be forwarded to the NVC with a delay.

Bottom line is that up until a few months ago (when I filed), I was ready and prepared for a 6+ months time between the NOA1 and NOA2. Its alway easy to gripe about something than to be patient. I think if we all show a bit of patience even while dealing with these delays, it will make the journey that much more pleasant.

Some of you have overcome that hurdle in less than 3 months. Please be thankful for that. We may never understand what is happening at the CSC which is adding to the delay. But nevertheless, I too hope that the cases move to the NVC quickly, now that the petitions are approved.
