Hi all,

I have collected A LOT of things as proof of having met my fiance and proof of an ongoing relationship.

I have a lot of paperwork, including phone records, text records, calling card records and bank statements, plane tickets, envelopes and mailings, photos, and facebook chat conversations. All of these records span over a 5 month period so I have accumulated a lot of paper.

Is it possible to provide too much paperwork to the point that it becomes a detriment to the case?

Thanks!

ok let me make this clear for you and others who have question.

in the first package, with I-129f, what is required from a petitioner with a beneficiary in a normal ( not high fraud or terrorist ) country is expected,is to submit proof of having MET in person within the last two years. that includes tickets, hotel information, credit card statements showing that you bought a ticket and paid for the hotel, boarding passes, passport stamps,AND IF it makes you feel better, some pictures with the beneficiary to prove you have physically met. the photos are not primary evidence.

in the interview, they ask for proof of relationship, proof of relationship is emails, chatlogs, phone records, pictures with the families and more pictures. what i personally suggest for the interview stage is PDA filled pictures ( as much as the beneficiary's religion and culture and your own morals allow you to ).

thats the difference between proof of having met in person and proof of an on going relationship.

is there such thing as too much evidence?yes. submiting too much evidence cant make the whole deal shorter, so dont bother.

I hope not. I didnt send all of our chats but will take them all to the interview. I even sent laundry reciepts from our time together. My packet was a little over 250 pages.
