Thank you so much for writing all this, it was such a big help. My fiance has his interview there next week and I'm so nervous since I won't be there to guide him lol! I have one question, well 2! Did she only need a COPY of YOUR birth certificate or the ORIGINAL? Also, what exactly are the requirements for the photos? I am so happy for you guys! This is the one place we can come to and actually get away with saying "I know how you feel". We are all excited to be in your position! When does she plan to make the big move?

Hey Cole-- if your fiance hasn't gotten his pictures yet he can get them in Cancun, that's where my fiance got his done. I can even tell you exactly which place if you want lol. We just felt better about getting them done beforehand rather than waiting until we were in Ciudad Juarez although if he wants to wait he can because I saw A BUNCH of places that took pictures for visas.

Hello all and thanks for all your advise.

I have a couple of questions, and I wonder if someone can help me?

Can someone explain me how to arrange the medical, fingerprint and interview appointments consecutively just like some of you?

Also, how can I arrange the DHL package?

Can I pick up the package or have it sent to my fiancée's hometown?

Are the instructions explained in the package 3 from the consulate?

05-05-2008 = Infuriating $12 call to non-English-speaking consulate appointment-setter.

05-06-2008 = Better $12 call to English-speaker; "joint" interview date 6/30/08 (my selection).

06-30-2008 = Stokes Interrogations w/Ecuadorian (not USC); "wait 2 weeks; we'll mail her."
