hello friends

im beneficiary, my wife is filling i-864 (Affidavit of support form) the problem is, her income for year 2010 is 9,150 $, which is very less to reach poverty level so she takes help from her sister for support her sister is married and have 2 children and her 2010 year "joint" income (husband+wife) is 30,400. so this whole makes above from provery guide line.

now the question is did my wife just fill one i-864 form ?

or 1 i-864 form and 1 i-864a form for her (sister + husband) as joint sponsor ?

or 1 i-864 form and 2 i-864a forms 1 for sister and one for brother in law ?

and when she fills i-864 form so which one she tick a or which one?

a. I am the petitioner. I filed or am filing for the immigration of my relative.

b. I filed an alien worker petition on behalf of the intending immigrant, who is related to me as my

c. I have an ownership interest of at least 5 percent in ________________ which filed an alien worker petition on behalf of the intending immigrant, who is related to me as my

The petitioner (your wife) completes an I-864 regardless of income. If your wife is self employed then the 2010 income is what matters. If she is a wage/salary earner then current (2011) income is what matters.

The sister will complete an I-864 and the husband completes an I-864A. For a household count of 5 (you plus the 4 of them) the income requirement is $32,712 Are they self employed or are they employees? What is their income going to be for 2011?
