Filed for K-1 fiance visa.....has her final interview on Monday at 8am!!!

Taking a little poll, how long is she going to have to wait to get her visa/authorization to enter?

Can she get her authorization to work at the same time when she crosses border?

Hope all is well fellow vjer's!!

Hey there!

There is already a very informative poll in progress here: http://www.visajourney.com/forums/topic/302129-waiting-for-our-passports-from-montreal/

And no, I do not believe that work authorization is given at POE for K-1's.

Best Wishes!! :)

No authorizations upon entry for K1s - get married promptly and file AOS (which includes EAD - Employment Authorization).

Tell her to enjoy her few months of work freedom :)

NOPE! you guys have to marry and file AOS and wait to get the EAD and AP. Good luck hope you get your visa packet back faster than what seems to happen lately!
