Anyone able to tell me where I can find a "continuation sheet"?

I need it to file my I-130

There is not such sheet as a form. Basically, it is a blank piece of paper on which you continue to provide the information that did not fit in the space provided in the form.

August 23, 2010 - I-129 F package sent via USPS priority mail with delivery confirmation.

August 30, 2010 - Per Department of Homeland Security (DHS) e-mail, petition received and routed to California Service Center for processing. Check cashed. I-797C Notice of Action by mail (NOA 1) - Received date 08/25/2010. Notice date 08/27/2010.

After 150 days of imposed anxious patience...

January 24, 2011 - Per USCIS website, petition approved and notice mailed.

January 31, 2011 - Approval receipt notice (NOA 2) received by mail. Called NVC, given Santo Domingo case number, and informed that petition was sent same day to consulate.

Called Visa Specialist at the Department of State every day for a case update. Informed of interview date on February, 16 2011. Informed that packet was mailed to fiance on February, 15 2011.

February 21, 2011 - Fiance has not yet received packet. Called 1-877-804-5402 (Visa Information Center of the United States Embassy) to request a duplicate packet in person pick-up at the US consulate in Santo Domingo. Packet can be picked-up by fiance on 02/28.

March 1, 2011 - Medical exam completed at Consultorios de Visa in Santo Domingo.

March 9, 2011 at 6 AM - Interview, approved!

March 18, 2011 - POE together. JFK and O'Hare airports. Legal wedding: May 16, 2011.

Go confidently in the direction of your dreams. Live the life you have imagined.

OfficeMax,Staples and other places that sell plain white paper. The sheet is just an addendum page you create yourself, mostly used when the answers are too numerous or too long. Just mark the page Addendum to whatever the section and question is. Example Addendum to I-130, Question# whatever the number is. I had one myself, had about 4-5 questions covered on one addendum sheet! Good Luck!

Thanks from Shanghai! Appreciate the help and I will also be certain to sign any addendum.

not need to sign addendum

Sometimes my language usage seems confusing - please feel free to 'read it twice', just in case !
Ya know, you can find the answer to your question with the advanced search tool, when using a PC? Ditch the handphone, come back later on a PC, and try again.

I have addendums for my I-130 -

at top of page - put

Beneficiary: Beneficiary's LastNameInCaps, Beneficiary's First NameCamelCase, DOB: Beneficiary's DateOfBirth Petitioner: Petitioner's LastNameInCaps, Petitioner's FirstName, DOB: Petitioner's DateOfBirth

then at bottom of page put

Continuation Sheet, I-130 Petition, Date/Time Stamp, Page _ of _

Then in the content, put

Question #, answer.

----

That's the template/format that I use, homegrown by me - you could do anything that is similar, as long as you are consistent across the pages, and each page identities both of you, just in case it falls on the floor, is scooped up later, read, and the page can be put back in the casefile cause both names are there.

Hi,

Thanks for the information. Are you sure about (not needing to sign the sheet)? On the second page of the I-130 instructions, it says "if extra space is needed to complete any item, attach a continuations sheet, indicate the item number, and date and sign each sheet."

Thanks again!

Thanks in advanced! :-)

We did not staple the continuation sheets for any of our forms. We listed the continuation sheet on a contents page that we created. On the contents page, we described the continuation sheet as: Continuation sheet / addendum I-130 By the way, my wife and her son had their interviews in Guangzhou two weeks ago and both were approved. We leave for Michigan on the 8th of April.

Also, below is a copy of what we created for a continuation sheet. Just enter your information as needed. Good luck to you and if there is anything we can do to help, please feel free to contact us by reply.

Beneficiary: Last name, first name

Petitioner: Last name, first name

I.E.

Addendum to I-130 (continuation sheet), Section B, Questions 11. and 12.

11. Name(s) of Prior Husband(s) / Wives(s). 12. Date(s) Marriage(s) ended.

Last name, first name mm/dd/yyyy

last name, first name

Thank you so much! I've been killing myself looking for this answer since yesterday! I had the hint that your not meant to staple anything at all but the 420 check that goes along with it from the form instructions. :-) btw, did you staple your check to the i-130 ? Coz in the instructions it says the only thing you can staple are form fees.

thank you for confirming! Approved?! Wow! Blessings to your reunion! :-) it is good to know someone is willing to help.

Bless your family :-)

Hello Mrs.Proud2010,

As for the check being stapled to the form, I really don't know.

I can tell you that on two different occasions I emailed the USCIS with a question and got a satisfactory reply within a couple of days.

We submitted our applications in person and did the intake at the consulate office in Beijing. We paid cash.

Good luck to you and your family. We were very fortunate in that the entire process for us took less than 5 months.
