My fiance had his interview in London on Friday and we got the visa! He had to wait quite awhile but once he was called up they only asked for a few forms and that was it.

One thing he mentioned that I thought was interesting was that he was asked if he had any up to date pictures of us. From everything I've read about London, photos are never asked for, so I hadn't even told him to bring any! Thankfully he had a few of our engagement pictures to show. Apparently the interviewer looked at our pictures and said, 'no, I want funny ones! I like seeing funny pictures. Like these!' and then he pulled out the pictures from our original application, which included one of us dressed up for Halloween.

Malcolm thought the guy was just curious and that if he hadn't had up to date pictures then it wouldn't really have mattered. But I thought I'd pass that along to let everyone know who has interviews coming up. Maybe bring a few up to date pictures, just in case.

Sounds like he was being cheeky with him. Congratulations on the approval.

Yeah I took it that this guy was just trying to liven up his day! Though I have to say, I was relieved that my fiance had thought ahead to bring some. Seems like I worry about everything these days, just so glad that the visa is on its way. Of course now I'm thinking ahead to the AOS. It's always something, isn't it?
