Interview next Tuesday!!

Hello there,

Looking for experiences and/or advices of New Yorkers that have had their interview at Federal Plaza .

I am getting very anxious now!! My interview is next Tuesday!! Any advice of what documents I should take? I have all the documents I sent for the removing of conditions ( original and copies) ready to go, just in case they ask , also I have the 2010 Tax transcript that I didn't have back then. Also, I am more than ready for the English test, I have review my N400 application. Well, I guess I just need to calm down now...LOL !!

I HAD MINE IN OCTOBER.IT WAS SMOOTH.

MY INTERVIEWER WAS MORE OF A COMEDIAN LOL.

JUST RELAX ANSWER TRUTHFULLY.

THEY ASK U 10 QUESTIONS OUT OF 100

BUT IF BY THE 4TH YOU ANSWER GOOD THEY JUST STOP AND GO TO THE

WRITTEN PART THEN READING.

THEN THEY SCHEDULE YOU FOR OATH THE NEXT WEEK.EITHER ON FEDERAL PLAZA BLDG

OR IN THE BLDG INFRONT.SOME PEOPLE GET SENT DIFFERENT PLACES.

YAY.. Happy times for AlmaD. Good luck and relax. The N-400 is the easiest step in the immigration journey. I stressed for nothing and it was over in 5 minutes. I didn't even open the file I brought and I wish you have the same easy interview. You need to share the champagne with the rest of us

I'm with you on the nervious part - I had a minor meltdown of my own yesterday (my interview is this Weds). I don't think you need to bother bringing your ROC stuff, that is a done deal. No one has said here that I can remember that they were asked about that.

I'm reviewing my file and paperwork this morning and then I'll just lose sleep until Weds I guess

I have read a lot of cases where the IO asked for Tax transcripts/ Marriage Certificate, etc. My cousin's wife had her interview a few week ago in NYC too. She passed the English text but the IO asked her to bring a 2010 Tax Transcript and a Bank letter showing that She and my cousin had a joint account to a second interview even that she was applying based on the 5 year rule. It is not required to bring the papers but just in case they ask. I'll just have them in my purse.

Ahh - well I definitely have tax trascripts, bank letter and marriage cert as part of my evidence I sent with my N400 so I'm all set.I was up thinking about stuff at 5:20 am today - glad the interview is Weds - I'll get some sleep on Weds night.

LOL.. Yes you can sleep all you want after Weds of course !! Don't forget to take the originals of the documents you sent with you! Good luck!!
