That's how much it is with our closest civil surgeon :( Where did u go? Was it in California?

I went to a civil surgeon who has offices both in Oakland and Hayward. I paid $150 for each of three people, which included vaccinations which were needed and full medicals. The full medicals were not technically required, but people occasionally get RFE's because USCIS has a habit of losing the medical file, and I'm allergic to RFE's.

Anyway, the civil surgeon said he usually charges $250 for the full medical but he gave us a "group discount".

Dr. Joseph Ippolito in Oakland did our I-693 for $75.00. A bit of an odd guy, but he was the only one we had found that wasn't going to charge us $250.00-600.00.

Wow that sounds like a really good deal! Did he give you your vaccines also for that price or did you do that before you got here?

My husband still required one vaccine which we got at the county health department for $17.00, and we just provided the doctor with the rest of his vaccine history from Malawi. So as long as you have all of the required vaccines and documentation, it will only cost $75.00 for him to fill out the I-693 for you.

That's the same CS we went to. He's also got an office in Hayward. He's a retired MD who spends most of his day on his computer playing with his stock portfolio. I got a feeling he works as a CS just to stay busy, or maybe it's to get away from his wife during the day.

I can't help with CS recommendations as the OP is in Cali. I am in Indy but looking at the fees you paid, I felt "robbed"...whew!Paid $390 in all ..$180 for doc and the rest for the 2 vaccines I had. We could have gone to the Health Center but due to time constraint, we had it done at the Doc's clinic.

Anyway, at least he gave me my own copy to take to the interview just in case..and sure enough when I got my NOA for the AOS interview I was asked to take my I-693 (if not submitted)...wonder why USCIS "lose" documents...oh but $95 for all for the I-693???!hmmm...:)

Just for your info, and perhaps peace of mind, everyone's interview letter says that same thing. It lists several things to bring, unless already submitted. It doesn't mean they lost your I-693.
