Hi All,

I am new to this forum. After doing a bit of research, I can't seem to find out an approximate timeline for DCF filing after you have sent off your DS-230 and DS-2001.

We posted our DS-230 and DS-2001 on June 27th. How long did most people have to wait before they received their interview appointment? I'm hoping that we get the interview before the end of July and his medical is already booked for July 12th Does anyone thing that a 1 month turnaround is possible?

Like most people going through I have been freaking out everyday for months now! Only 3 more months until we move back to NJ, so I'm really hoping to get the interview booked soon :)

Thanks for any information you can provide!

At the moment people who had their medicals at the beginning of June are getting late July/early August dates. For me it took 2 weeks from medical date to get my interview date, but my case is an expedited one so my timeline is a lot faster than most and my interview date is approx 2 weeks earlier than those I did my medical with.

They wont book your partner's interview until after they receive his medical results which takes up to a week to receive. So you MAY have your date by the end of July and it MAY be for a Sept interview.

Your best bet is to check out the UK forums on here, they're much more informative :]

Thanks for the information. May I ask, who did you email to request the expedition of your visa? I didn't realize you could that. We could have used our case number a lot sooner as we originally wanted to move end of this month.

I'm happy that you were able to do it all so quickly. I see your interview is today, so GOOD LUCK! :)
