Good luck and hope everything went well.

Thanks! It actually ended up being kind of nerve-wracking which I wasn't prepared for. I thought our case was fairly straightforward and that we would have a fairly short interview with the both of us in the same room. Instead we were put in a different room and interviewed separately for one hour each. Not a Stokes-style interview, but the interviewer asked *very* detailed questions. I ended up even getting called back in as the interviewer said we had a few minor discrepancies - I think due to language issues - which I clarified for her and she seemed satisfied. In all we were there for over 3 hours. She didn't give us an answer either way, just said she was going to review everything, but it sounded as if we're probably in the clear. Stressful! :blink:

K-1 Visa

05/27/2010 – NOA1 issued
06/03/2010 – Touch/NOA1 hard copy received in US Mail
10/27/2010 – 5 month mark
10/28/2010 – Spoke to USCIS representative – 'still pending'

11/05/2010 – Notified that background checks are not complete - looks like we're in for a looong wait...

Touched 2011-09-12 I think. The date changed and the message changed from the transfered to CSC one to the has been transfered to a USCIS office. Nothing on EAD or AP since NOA1.

Just got an email this morning that we were APPROVED after we left the interview office yesterday!!! Sooooo happy...I was feeling so down after that horrible interview yesterday!

Will post some of the interview questions when I get home from work tonight!

this is WEIRD!!!!

Last September 8, the USCIS website showed that my EAD is now ordered in production. I checked again today and it says September 13 card was ordered in production.

Does this mean the 30 days will have to restart with Sept.13?
