My I-130 is approved and case is forwarded to NVC in the NOA2 i recieved stated that i should wait a month before i call NVC for further communication.

I was reading out the proceeding guide to I-130 as follows

http://www.visajourney.com/wiki/index.php/EZGuideSpouse

In this guide i found next step would be submitting "DS-3032" and "affidavit of support" to NVC and paying them amount for processing.

My wife just told me that if we file "DS-3032" and "affidavit of support" in U.S or online then there is free for processing otherwise if these two forms need to submit outside of U.S then they are free.

I believe After approval of I-130 its processing similar to I-129F that NVC will assign a number to the case and will forward it to respective embassy, in my case my embassy will be in Islambad.

Then Islamabad Embassy will contact me and will ask me to provide DS-3032" and "affidavit of support" is that correct with other related documents ? and then they issue me letter for interview. that's what is told by the USCIS agent.

Meanwhile i will call NVC in 15-20 days and collect information what is the next step.

Please comment over it

Reread the guide. Most of what you have posted here is incorrect.

My wife just told me that if we file "DS-3032" and "affidavit of support" in U.S or online then there is free for processing otherwise if these two forms need to submit outside of U.S then they are free.

DS-3032 is the choice of agent form for the beneficiary, there is no fee associated with it. There is no such thing as free processing when it comes to affidavit of support. That fee WILL have to be paid or the case does not proceed.

(buzzer), wrong........

NVC will assign a case number. Then they (the NVC) will the DS-3032.

The affidavit of support and IV documents are separate tracks and separate fees will need to be paid for both. AOS and IV bills are paid to the NVC.

After the NVC completes processing the file; then it will be sent to the Embassy in Islamabad. Furthermore, the NVC will schedule the interview based on what the Embassy tells them they have available.

NVC has 3 document sets for intake, the DS-3032, the AOS/I-864, and the IV/DS-230

USUALLY, all can get started at NVC

by the USCitizen Spouse calling into NVC,

getting a human, exchanging email addresses with the TeleOperator,

waiting a few days for the DS-3032 kit.

Once that kit is emailed out, NVC is ready to start the document intake

and is ready to start accepting fees from the USCitizen Petitioner.

There are also parallel streams, that are not dependent on each other, then one stream that IS dependent.

Packet 3 at Islamabad is similar intake on the I-129F to this document intake at NVC, there are different forms, different payment streams.

But they are not the same. The intake is similar, location totally different. Forms are different as well. I can't emphasis that enough - forms are different - they must be, is different visa type (K-1 vs CR-1)

Whilst YOU are reading the EZGuide, is your wife reading it ? You promised me you'd get those 3 wiki entries over to her, last week in a prior topic... Did she make that first phone call, or no ? Did she get an AOS fee bill in her email, or no ?

Yes i shared wiki entries with her but she says this is not department of states website, if some thing goes wrong who will be responsible ?

She is believing over department of state website or USCIS/NVC agents.

OK - good luck to her then. I'm sorry, we're a peer-reviewed website, and the guides and wiki entries do mirror the DoS process and procedures for document intake. Over the years, the LingChe crew have devised a set of shortcuts for NVC intake, and these were based on peer'd input on the NVC process.

If she follows the DoS guide at http://travel.state.gov/visa/immigrants/nvc/nvc_1335.html

she'll waste about 5 to 7 months 'waiting for notification' .

That phone call, truly, kick starts the document intake process.

Without that phone call? Expect to be on the 'postal processing' timeline, there's 3 months for each document set. Three document sets, 9 months.

With the phone call, and following stuff here at VJ, she could be done within 6 weeks.

So, she can take the DoS website instructions as gospel, or she can take the peer-reviewed (and edited) LingChe's NVC Shortcuts as gospel; LingChe has worked for several thousands of members here.

My heart goes out to you, as knowledge acquisition is always a painful process, the decision to make the leap and learn even more so.
