Hello,

Okay so here's a question. My fiance and I filed our I-129F a few weeks ago. Ireland's economic state has been really bad for the last few years and my fiance has been technically unemployed for a few years. He has, however, worked off the books for several companies, but the companies would not hire him on for fear of not needing him anymore and having to let him go. On his G-325A he listed these jobs as employers and also made sure to put down gaps when he wasn't doing any sort of work. Was this a bad thing that he listed these as places of employement even though he wasn't "on the books"? I am just worried that they will look into this and see that he was not legally employed and think he was lying. Any help would be great.

It is unlikely they will 'look into it', in my opinion, they have heaps to do and don't have much time to follow up on individual beneficiary employment history

Yes, I agree with this. As long as he is honest you shouldn't have anything to worry about.
