I used to LOVE this country and worked for Bill Clinton, John Kerry and Obama's campaigns but I have since stopped and will not support any political candidate or party. Our system is corrupt and that's that... I am not here to debate politics. If you want to be a troll, go to foxnews.... Dont bring your ###### to me. I am simply trying to understand why our government has become so lazy and corrupt.

One important thing no matter what political point of view you might have is accepting the process before starting it. It doesn't matter who's president, NVC aren't going to hire another 100 employees to get K1's(or other applications) out faster. Even if they did, it still wouldn't be good enough for most.

I do agree that it reeks to have a petition collecting dust for months however 2 years from now, most "forget" all about it and have other battles to win. That's why it doesn't help when it's factors you're not going to take to the next level anyway.

K1 process, October 2010 > POE, July 2011

I-129F approved in 180 days from NOA1 date. (195 days from filing to NOA2 in hand)

Interview took 224 days from I-129F NOA1 date. (241 days from filing petition until visa in hand)

From filing I-129F petition until POE: 285 days

I am IT Director for a huge law firm so if that's a failure then i don't know what success means anymore...... the thing is that i don't only care about my self but about others as well and i see that things are getting much worse and people are too busy watching american idol.....

Well, may be its always been lazy and corrupt. I dont know but I did believe in it because it did let me and my family come to America based on our religion. There were people who actually cared about things and now no one does... its just a hate filled fest and the right thinks that all progressives are communists and left things that all righties are fascists. There are enough idiots on both sides but I honestly didnt want to go political here. I was just trying to say that our government is not working for now anymore. Believe it or not, it did one day
