My fiance and i got approved on our petition recently so now im gathering documents for the interview. With regards to the Proof of termination of a prior marriage, do i need to have a CERTIFIED copy of his divorce decree or just a photocopy will do? For those who had interview recently, does the CO required the certified one? how about his Birth Certificate? should i bring his certified BC too? thanks in advance. :)

Are you the beneficiary or the petitioner? If you're the beneficiary then you should bring original certified copies to the interview. If you want to get those originals back then bring photocopies, as well.

12/15/2009 - K1 Visa Interview - APPROVED!

12/29/2009 - Married in Oakland, CA!

08/18/2010 - AOS Interview - APPROVED!

05/01/2013 - Removal of Conditions - APPROVED!

xerox copy of the divorce decree will be fine.the CO will just ask for the divorce decree copy then will returned it to you.make 2 copies of it bcoz you will needed it during the seminar for the cfo.BC..the CO never asked that.
