I like possitive constructive people.thanks for all your support.yes, money is spent.Plus, re-booking is alot better than booking your flight for next week..

If you're so sure of your good decision, why create a thread asking about it? Just so people can reinforce your poor decision? Wow.

I'm doing just fine. Life is great over here. This site, however, is crisis after crisis- many of which could be avoided if people that come on here learn from others mistakes. One huge mistake that gets repeated often is booking flights and paying caterers before a visa is issued. It's not something that should be encouraged. To do so would cause a lot of heartache and lost funds for a lot of hopeful people.

This isn't a handholding, back patting site. It's a place for advice. Other people will search these threads months from now looking for advice about purchasing plane tickets in advance. Hopefully it will go well for this guy, however IT IS NOT ADVISABLE to purchase tickets or make wedding plans in advance of receiving a visa. Realistically.

That's all I'm saying.

Agreed.

Theres positive thinking, and then theres setting yourself up for trouble.

Realistically its not a good idea to book a flight until you have your visa, passport and that mysterious envelope in hand.

Until then, there are a myriad of possible delays that could mess up your plans.

hey fellows,

Ive got approved by yesterday..I hope the best for everybody else who are waiting patiently for their marriages...

P.s. I swear to God the interviewer just asked how my fiancee and I met.I think our 4 year relationship has proved everything to them. The only stressing thing was waiting forever for my interview on the chair when I had to pee and had to watch my number on the screen at the same time.

again.I wish lots of luck for all of you

Wow!! Congratulations on making it just in time!!

Thanks. It was a little bit patience and a little bit pushiness, I started bugging them on 26th, I believe they accelerated it because the lady I talked to was very cooperative and arranged for us to have it in time. I don't think it was going to happen otherwise, they were very busy the week of the interview.

Do you have a personal problem with this guy?? You're being ridiculously rude towards him. So he can't wait to marry his fiance and maybe jumped the gun a bit. Not your problem! He's just asking what his options are and you're basically ripping into him. Lay off the guy. He got excited and jumped the gun. Let it go.
