I am going to have my interview in two weeks. I'd like to ask if my police clearance (local) can be considered as ID when I enter the embassy. I also have my colored photocopy of my passport, student ID (not valid anymore) and one ID from a review center. Are these enough? Coz they don't issue NBI IDs here and the postal ID seems impractical to have. 345Php and I'll never get to use it. Thank you!

Do you have, (because you will certainly NEED,) your actual passport. That will be sufficient as ID.

Normally, St. Lukes would keep your passport and forward it to the U.S. Embassy Manila along with your medical results. However, I believe you can ask St. Lukes to return your passport to you after your medical exam since you will need it as ID in order to enter the Embassy for your interview.

Also, don't forget to take your interview appointment printout to the Embassy.

They don't keep it anymore. Changed policy about a month or 6 weeks ago. So, everybody should have it for the interview these days.

@paul_kay...Where is your passport? How do you expect to get a visa without a passport?

LOL I didn't know this thread was still on.

Day after I posted this, I went to the postal office to get a Postal ID. (Which I didn't get to use)

I also went to have my medical and my passport was returned to me. I didn't know they had a new policy. I asked the guards why they changed it, he said to avoid losing them.

Anyway, thank you for your responses. I'm now approved and waiting for my visa to be delivered.
