Rather than flying back to Davao City after Jenny's medical, I am thinking we should use the cost of flight money to go to Tagaytay. Does anyone know a reasonably priced hotel there?

Wow--the Royal Taal sounds like a great deal. I wish I had known of it before booking our room at the Taal Vista Hotel last year. Regardless of where you stay, take the day excursion to the volcano. It's a great view.

Kirk, I've used Asia Travel several times to book hotels in various places in Phils. Never been dissatisfied.

The boat ride was nice. Marlene wasn't very thrilled with the horseback ride. She had only been on a horse once before--at mine's view in Baguio and that was just long enough for a photo. I felt sorry for my poor little horse. I'm large and they are so small. :lol:

We had 2 guides on the trip up the volcano. Mine kept trying to separate me from Marlene and ask for additional money. I told him that Marlene was in charge of tipping :lol:
