Have you ever Magnolia Bakery ones (they feature them in all mags & on S&TC).

No doubt, that bakery's got the bombest frosting.

I love those cupcakes like McAdams loves Gosling.

First dinner we had was at a steakhouse that had a secret spice for their steaks. Was very delicious but I was so nervous I couldn't eat it all. First time I never finished a steak before!

When he gets off the plane, I'm assuming he'll just want to crash, or eat a little of whatever's in the fridge. I'd take him out the next day or so.

He's the cook, not me, so I am going to take him to a deli and show him what real, Jewish deli food is all about. My mom sent me a bag of bagels and some babka when I was in Brazil, and Rey liked the bagel (although we had no means to heat it and we had no good schmear material around) and loved the babka.

I think he will love it. I'll also have to pick up a few cupcakes so he can finally understand why I'm obsessed with them, and have dreams about them, and have to go to extreme measures to prevent myself from eating them.

I remember on one of Oprah's show called Breakfest with Oprah, she mentioned that Barbara Streisand had sent her some cupcakes from here Sprinkles Cupcakes .. she said you just pop them in the microwave for a bit so the frosting melts a bit.... they sure looked good...

Today is my 3 month anniversary of being on a diet. A harsh one. Oh, so harsh.

Those pictures were sheer torture.

When I go to Canada, we love to get beef or bison steaks from the local farmer's co-op, marinate them in my über beer & mustard marinade and grill them. Finish with a side of fresh Taber corn and chocolate cake or a cherry tart.

But that's usually the second meal; I usually get in late at night so first is breakfast: crêpes with strawberries.

My hubby is coming to visit tomorrow. Tonight, mostly to keep my mind off of him traveling, I'm making his favorite dish of mine...okay...the only one I can make He is definately the cook in our relationship. I'm making spicy vegetarian chili with a side of twice baked potatoes, fresh baked bread and strawberry cheesecake for desert.
