Getting SSN after K1 Visa Issuance.

1.Is it possible to apply for SSN without appying for EAD ?

2. Regarding medical vaccination (varicella) Chicken pox vaccination that is not available in UK. Is it possible to take the injection from a civil surgeon for AOS ?

3. Does K1 visa still carry eligibility for employment in the usa without applying for EAD.

1.Is it possible to apply for SSN without appying for EAD ? YES. You probably will apply for the SSN first as it is relatively easy to get, you may need it for your state's marriage license. In the case your state does require SSN's for both parties, some people have had the requirement waived after explaining the fiance was in the US on a K1 visa (if they did not yet have a SSN for the Beneficiary

2. Regarding medical vaccination (varicella) Chicken pox vaccination that is not available in UK. Is it possible to take the injection from a civil surgeon for AOS ? I would email the US embassy in the Beneficiary's local country

3. Does K1 visa still carry eligibility for employment in the usa without applying for EAD. No. You have to go through the EAD process
