Why can someone with a priority date of Sept 2008 not get interviewed in Sept 2011? I don't see why the exact date matters but since you asked, the interview is on the 12th of september 2011.

Sorry ...Plz dont take me wrong...I am so happy for u and all others who got their interview dates...I was just curious to know...Thats a very good sign that u got a date even before ur priority date...Cos now we can expect something even better...Good luck and enjoy the moment.Cheers

We dont see retrogression again atleast for F2A. NVC now knows atleast the volume of cases present atleast until end of 2009; as many of them were complete. So I think we will see Only forward movem

Just my 2 cents again; I am from India as well...[indian consulate is slow in setting up interviews for F2A; just to let you know consulate is still processing March 22,2008]....I was looking at other topic in the same forum and twinklestar with PD 28MAR2008 still did not get interview and was asked to call back on Aug 1st. So not very enthusiastic from India side.

I can feel ur pain... I think it depends on the population of a particular country and the visa demand and the number of visas available at every consulate...I Pray "May you and twinklestar get ur interview dates soon InshaAllah."

I dont know the reason for delay...u may be right...but i think debt is the issue of government and DOS is all together different deprtment having different duties.......god knows which is the right reason beind this...

whole system working under US gov. so everything going slow down becuz No money No honey : )

UPDATE ON MY WIFE'S CASE:

My wife received a surprise call from US Embassy Dhaka, Bangladesh this morning( Embassy Open Sunday), the bangali lady asked her pick her passport on Thursday 1.00 PM at BD time.....:dance: :dance: Yohooooo :dance: :dance: ....Finally journey going to end..the lady also told my wife US department approved her visa.

So what my understanding, She was holding for approval of visa number to released from DoS.

Thank you all Vj members for great help..I appreciated yours efforts in this forum, Great people.

12-20-2012: SENT N-400 APPLICATION

12-21-2012: RECEIVED N-400 APPLICATION

12-27-2012: CHECK CASHED

12-28-2012: NOA RECEIVED

01-14-2013: INTERVIEW IN LINE FOR SCHEDULED

I would be so elated if the september vb goes to november, more so if it goes to december as my priority date is Jan 25, 2009. I miss my mom, sister and brother very much as I'm the only one left in Jamaica. God please let the dates advance quickly. Congrats to all who got their interviews scheduled. Xoxo
