Total cost of AOS process???

I was reading the AOS fee schedule,and there are some processes that are manditory and others that are not..anyone opt for all of them? i.e. travelling while AOS is being processed, working...What was the final total for those that went thru the WHOLE list...this is getting might expensive if I am reading the fee schedule correctly

$1070 for the I-485. I-765 and I-131 are free when filed with I-485. Total cost is $1070 for everything.

Yep it is crazy expencive! but very much worth it to finally be here with your spouse!

AOS is 1070$.

I only filed the I-485 and didn't include the AP or EAD forms because I had no need to travel while waiting and no need to work while waiting for the green card. The fee stays the same even if you include AP or EAD.

There is also the cost of the I-693, which possibly involves vaccinations, paying a civil surgeon, etc.

You will also need to make a trip to get your biometrics done. In my case it was a five hour drive which is expensive considering the price of gas.

Hopefully it won't happen to you, but we had to have biometrics done twice since they didn't take good fingerprints the first time. They also lost her Chinese medical, so we had to have another medical done here in the states, which involved a TB test, more vaccinations, x-ray.
