Not Guilty is not guilty. Innocent is innocent. Sometimes they mean the same thing, sometimes not.

You don't know all the facts. The jury would have been in possession of more facts than you - yet found the woman not guilty. That means that facts were missing from the prosecution case. They couldn't prove what they were accusing the defendant of doing.
