hi everyone, just wondering if its ok for us to believe that after sending the I-130 petition package, (which my wife did couple days ago) we just have to follow further instructions coming from the uscis or we might need other help as well such as from a lawyer or i dunno...

just wait for a NOA 1, it means that USCIS received ur petition... >You will first get a notice by email/text, and than a hardcopy in the mail. In the meanwhile, prepare for the next step (NVC!)

now you have to wait for a second notice of action. this will probably take up to 5 months, if you dont get it after 5 months call uscis to inquire.

Now you wait. :)

Use this time to familiarize yourself with the process to come at NVC. You can review the document and medical requirements and start collecting those that are not time sensitive such as birth certificates, vaccinations etc. Have a read through these guides. Good luck.

NVC? YES !

Sometimes my language usage seems confusing - please feel free to 'read it twice', just in case !
Ya know, you can find the answer to your question with the advanced search tool, when using a PC? Ditch the handphone, come back later on a PC, and try again.
