Our case was approved exactly 20 days after being received by the NVC, Although, it took exactly 6 months for it to clear USCIS. So it seems you play the waiting game either one way or another. Good Luck and God Bless to you All.

We had to send ours 3 times before it was accepted. I would send it again if I were you. It only took 2 days for them to accept it once they decided to lol

Do you mean that he put his date of birth as the 'from' date? I haven't sent my form yet but I know that I have done that.

re:ds-230 #30:

the earliest date - at the bottom of that list - on the left (yes the "from" side), is supposed to be your 16th birthdate. Then you work your way up, with no gaps more than 6 months. Instead of writing his bday he put "-----" because he didn't move there on his 16th bday - he had lived there since birth. Oh well. Now we know. That little tidbit should be in the guide... if it's already there, then shame on us. -M

As per my observation it has been 5 - 7 days for DS-230 and 7 - 10 days for I-864.
