I am not sure why there is a SIF, but I guess you can only print the cover page after the payment is processed, 1-2 days after you payed.

Also, MINE JUST APPEARED AND I PAYED IT!!!

I am just looking at my timeline and I am so frustrated. Why did it take 2 weeks for me to be at this step? UGH...

@Foxy...

One the other 2 cases it showed as paid on the same day. However, when you click on related cases, it shows up with only 2 cases instead of 3 but the operators confirmed that the 3rd case int heir system is indeed PAID.

They told me to create my own cover letter and mail in with case # on it.

That's what I will have to do.

PS. this immigration process caused me to have 10 strands of gray hair. :bonk:

Hi EdisonD,

It looks like we are really close on our timelines. We also received our AOS bill and DS-3032 today and we submitted the DS-3032 by email. I did not use a PDF, and we used the visajourney DS-3032 email template found through Jame's shortcuts.

Be sure and make sure you double, no triple check all of the data you email them and that all the numbers are correct before emailing. Place your NVC case number and the beneficiary name in the subject line. We almost sent the DS-3032 email with a "zero" missing from the case number in the subject line of the email and that might have been a disastrous huge delay!

Here's the email template we used (to be emailed by your foreign spouse):

LOL I just called NVC to see if I had a case number yet. I checked the AVR first like I always do, of course "no record of this case" so then I hung up and called back and spoke to an operator she asked me for my CIS number, I gave it to her then she said "Did you just call?" I of course said no since I called the AVR, not an operator. First time anyone has asked me if I just called before though. Odd. Do you think they have a record in front of them of every time we call them once we give them our CIS number? I thought it was funny and laughed.

She said to call back next week. I'll call back again tomorrow :)

I don't think they track you by your CIS number until they have you in the computer when they generate your case number.. But they can probably see phone numbers that have called in the last hour or so..

Who cares? If they want you to stop calling tell them they can give you a case number.. Easy fix! :)

Finally, got my NVC case number and invoice number! I wasn't about to call NVC like I usually do every day. But since it is Friday I thought I might get lucky. Sure enough the operator begin to verify my information and then told me the NVC case number as well as the invoice ID number.

Way to go! I immediately send in the DS-3032 form and requested electronic process. Let's see how fast do I get a response from NVC.

Actually, when I was waiting and going crazy for my case number I was calling two sometimes three times a day. Then I got paranoid that they would hold up my case because inwas harassing them. So I asked and they told me there is no record of when you call, at least not before you have a case number.

I hope you get yours soon! This has been so stressful and horrible.
