Hi Guys,

I just quickly wanted to check I had done something right.

The next steps after the AOS and IV payments are updated to paid...

I click on payment receipts and then print document cover sheet.

This the the sheet that goes on the front of the whole packages? correct?

Also these sheets (AOS & IV) have a barcode on them. Is this the bar code cover sheet that people talk about and therefore no need to create my own bar code as suggested in some walk throughs.

I have a sudden panic I havent completed the next steps correctly.

Yes, you are right. Print both your cover sheet and start working on your I-864 and DS-230 requirements. Once ready send, which ever is ready first.

Congarts to all that are making progress at NVC.

I just called NVC to see if they have my case # but got no luck. Just emailed my NOA2 to NVCResearch as the representative told me... It's been 25+ days since NOA2... hopefully they haven't lost/misplaced my file :(

You should not fill anything in part 7, if you plan not to use any assets (it is optional). There was another doubt on using I-864EZ instead of I-864, so I used I-864 as it is safe and left part 7 blank.

Hope this helps.

Please elaborate. What is the doubt in using I-864EZ. Isn't it simpler if you meet the requirement? Why is it bad for a single sponsor/single job income/single beneficiary situation?

That's crazy! You are 5 days short of two months and NVC still hasn't assigned you a case number? You probably want to make sure they have your files instead of lost them.

Most folks look like getting the NVC case numbers at one month mark. Some get lucky, some get the number a few days beyond one month. But I heard no one waiting for nearly two months.

In my case I have 2010 below 125%, as I was a full time student and included bank statement without showing the balance in part 7. Also if NVC has any issues, I wanted to send my father's I-864 and in that case I don't need to resend everything. It is just my unique case. Now I am sure that my current income more than enough, as it is very high. Also NVC guidelines states to use I-864 if we don't fit into any other I-864... and hence it is safer bet.

Otherwise I-864EZ is perfect for those that want to just use their wages.

We seem to be stuck on the NVC accepting our DS-3032 email. Sent it first thing 9 days ago on August 2nd and no word yet... re-sent it yesterday just in case, since NVC operator said they had no record of it having been received. Anyone else have / having similar issues or delay with the DS-3032 acceptance?

The I-864 bill was received and updated to paid fairly quickly though, so there is that

The NVC tells you to wait until you get IV PAID, download the coversheet and mail in the IV. I gambled. I created my own barcode using the VJ guide and mailed the IV about a week before getting the PAID message. Now I see read that you can also use the AOS barcode coversheet (if you have one). An NVC operator (one of the nice ones) also said I could do this.

In doing this I may have saved a couple of days of mailing time and maybe got ahead a couple of days of sorting in the NVC mailroom. Anyway, in my case, it didn't seem to hurt me. But I was ready with a duplicate IV package in case anything went wrong or got lost.

Best of luck to all!
