CSC - NOA2 to NVC Delay

I have not recived anything from NVC yet.

I just got my case number and IIN last night.

AOS fee's will generate first and there is nothing that we can do to accelearate that.

I truly am confused as to when I should send off this DS-3032. I want to use the traditional methods and call NVC to see if they have gernreated it and then send it in, but I also see some others have just sent it in as soon as they got their case number and IIN.

I just don't know yet... still contemplating it.

Alright it's final.

Calling my wife right now to push the send button from India.

I already saved it as a draft to her inbox last night.

Alright - following your lead. Haven't been wrong so far. :)

I'm thinking this may have happened to me.

I emailed the DS-3032 straight away after getting off the phone on Monday (where i got my case number and Invoice number)

When I log into the payment portal as the petitioner, for the AOS it states no fee amount and payment status as Not invoiced.

When I call the AVR it states:

Please allow 6-8 weeks for the beneficiary to receive notification.

Should I email the DS-3032 again?

I received two emails this morning... (check my signature for background)

First

Was to the DS-3032 email I sent with an error in the case number. (I had typed LDN, instead of LND)

It said:

Dear Sir/Madam:

Your inquiry has been received at the National Visa Center (NVC).

This petition is now eligible for further processing. The petitioner, principal applicant, and/or attorney of record will receive an instruction package regarding further processing of this petition.

I noticed they had changed the case number to be correct.

Second

Was to the DS-3032 email i sent with the correct case number

It said the same thing.

Does this mean It has been accepted?

I still cannot pay any bills when I log on to the portal.

I hope it hasn't been entered twice.

I am presuming that the foreign spouse has nominated the US spouse. Once accepted, you will get an email from NVC that your foreign spouse has nominated you and that they would be sending the future correspondence to you (US Spouse). Then the next day you will see the IV fee bill.

AOS fee bill comes up as soon as the Case number is fully entered into their system - you will get an email for this too.

Generally the payment web site allows payment a day before you actually get those eamil, as emails are sent a little later. So check your payment access.

Those emails aren't about the DS-3032 they are your next step emails. I would think you should be able to log in and find pay your AOS bill shortly.

So, we sent the DS-3032 email right away and got this as a response:

++++++

Dear Sir/Madam:

Your inquiry has been received at the National Visa Center (NVC).

We updated the mailing/email address for this case. Please continue to notify the NVC of any change of mailing/email address, or change in personal situation that may affect the principal applicant's entitlement to a visa.

This petition is now eligible for further processing. The petitioner, principal applicant, and/or attorney of record will receive an instruction package regarding further processing of this petition.

If a period of one year passes from the last date of contact with the NVC (by telephone, mail, or email), all submitted fees and documents will expire. If this occurs, your fees will need to be repaid and documents will need to be resubmitted in order to continue the immigration process.

Sincerely,

Tim

My read is that they took that opportunity to update the address on file and as the DS-3032 wasn't generated yet, they ignored the rest. I suspect that if your DS-3032 isn't generated yet, they will just ignore the email. However, I would wait to get a response (not an automated one) before resending it, as it is possible that pulling the cases by hand necessarily makes things go more slowly. (Are they seriously doing things by hand!?)

check your Congressional Rep's website. They all have a section on "constituent services".

In that section look for a form you can print .. .it's called the "Privacy Act Release" form.

Just print it from your computer and send it back however you can - fax, scan & email, post office.

I hand-delivered my PAR along with a cover letter describing the situation.

On Monday I sent off my DS-3032 email as soon as I my husband had rung up and got our case number and IIN number. Today I got this reply, which seems similar to the others but appears to say that they have not accepted my agent email...is this because they haven't actually processed our case yet even though we've got both our numbers? We waited 5 weeks from NOA2 to getting our case number and seems as though there's more waiting to be done just as we got excited about things moving along.

Your inquiry has been received at the National Visa Center (NVC).

We updated the email address for this case. Please continue to notify the NVC of any change of mailing/email address, or change in personal situation that may affect the principal applicant's entitlement to a visa.

We are unable to add an agent's information to the case record at this time.

True that they are unable to add the information, as the case has not yet been entered into the system but it doesn't state that you need to send again. Once they enter your case number, they will update the information from DS-3032 too and you will get emails at that time. Keep checking the MVC payment site and you will see first your AOS fee bill and then after a day or your IV fee bill.

Does anybody know how long it takes to get the Case# and IIN after NVC receives the case in their office?

Unfortuinately it is taking around 30 days currently - some lucky one got in 25 days and a few got in 35 days.
