Monday August 1st, 2011 was the first time I hear from an operator that my case was "just" received by NVC but they still do not have a case number.

Today August 3rd, 2011, I called again and the operator told me that my case was received "two weeks ago" and they still do not have a NVC case number. My P2 date was July 11. So it looks like the delay is not at USCIS sending approved cases over. But at NVC handling the backlog of cases.

Just to let you guys know.

Congrats. Since you are the analysis guys in the forum, here are some comparisons- you filed I-130 16 days after me; got your approval 6 days after me; and 12 days after me. I am sure you are ready with all documents and let's see when all your documents will be received at NVC (mine just did today).

It is just to have some fun outside our mundane & crazy office/ NVC work.

I will say publicly: YES!! I have been pushing through this system as fast as I can!!!

Left no stone unturned, left no Jedi trick untried, left no phone rep conversation without making them laugh. Seriously. It bcame a game to see how long it took to make them lighten up and laugh about the situation.

All the paperwork is done, and it's hubby's turn to do the medical exam & interview. Then pack, ship stuff, & fly.

I danced all the way out of the post office yesterday.

Our goal: SIF by Aug 15. Wanna race?

Some of us saved some time by sending the DS-3032 as soon as we got Case numbers and were lucky. But now things are not the same at NVC and trying to estimate when ones case is going to be entered into the system is difficult. Further I noticed that once you get email of AOS fee being ready and DS-3032 is being sent to beneficiary, NVC is responding quickly to the DS-3032 emails (2 - 3 days). Then NVC is also controlling post payment process due to heavy load bu keeping the status of the payments in "IN PROCESS" for over a week (this happened to some of us).

So if I were you, I will arrange to get DS-3032 after 3 - 5 days and then call the operator daily as Dave suggested and send again, if I get an email response to the DS-3032 stating blah blah (other than acceptance).

For what it's worth - I sent in the Ds3032 email format according to the LingChe guide. Then I sent the scanned version of the official format once available for download from the payment portal. When I called a couple of days later the operator said, "Oh you sent it twice and it had to be reentered"

So I really don't know if the second copy slowed me down a couple of days or not. You hear different things from different operators.

This is a crazy system. :jest:

Guys send your DS-3032 as soon as you have your Case numbers.

Previously we thought that NVC was responding back to such early email negatively based on someone's experience. But that someone actually wrote wrong case number and hence got a negative reply from NVC.

I am sure NVC will process the emails after they enter the cases fully into the system and generate AOS and IV bills (just saves time in getting the IV bill quickly). But if you are still working on getting the DS-230 documents, then you may wait till you get an email from NVC.

I have not recived anything from NVC yet.

I just got my case number and IIN last night.

AOS fee's will generate first and there is nothing that we can do to accelearate that.

I truly am confused as to when I should send off this DS-3032. I want to use the traditional methods and call NVC to see if they have gernreated it and then send it in, but I also see some others have just sent it in as soon as they got their case number and IIN.

I just don't know yet... still contemplating it.

Alright it's final.

Calling my wife right now to push the send button from India.

I already saved it as a draft to her inbox last night.
