by the way - the AVR says something about sending fees to the "St. Louis facility." Interesting data point. I wonder if that is where the payment portal is sitting. Maybe it's a blue police box. Things are "timey-wimey" at NVC b/c all my fees are paid.

Guys, don't even think of sending payment by mail to St. Louis facility - it is no more valid - NVC needs to update their web sites (the way things are moving, will they!)

Please remember that if the DS-3032 gets processed before your case is fully entered into the system, it will have to be resent. It happened in some cases and they got response stating that the beneficiary will be sent the documents to file...... In my case it was processed after my case was fully entered, so it was accepted. Why don't you wait for 2 - 3 more days and send - it is taking time to enter the cases into the system.

I've been following and we are also waiting for NVC to issue a case number. NVC received the case 25 June, but...waiting

CSC NOA2 = 30 June

NVC receives file = 25 July

Luckily working on university research and publications has distracted my wife and I from thinking about this 24/7, but it is so frustrating to bein limbo

I also recommend that since two of our DS3032 emails were rejected because our case wasn't in the system fully...

btw finally our DS3032 was accepted yesterday and today they generated IV bill and I just paid it...

Seems they have cleaned up a few of the old victims of the NVC holes that have been creted with the backlog.. Good deal!

Today I got the fourth different story regarding our case's progress through the NVC. Today was also the rudest operator I've yet to encounter: "Arthur." If a curt man answers and says that's his name, just hang up and try again.

"Arthur" did inform me that our case was received on August 1st, and that they will now need 20 business days to generate our case number.

Really? Four weeks from now just for a case number? It took over 3 weeks for them to acknowledge it was received.

I'm still going to call back every day, sorry "Arthur."

Yeah school does help. I wish I could have done research. I have my Bachelors in Bio from Ohio State and with no jobs available due to a horrible job market, I had to put myself back into school for an accelerated nursing degree. And when I say accelerated, it's crazy!

My core focus was microbio and I still love it to this day. My wife has a Bachelors in Biochem and is wanting to get a Master's and hopefully (depending on what life brings in the future) a Ph.D but it's one step at a time in this current global recession.
