CSC - NOA2 to NVC Delay

a "passport security clearance certificate" must be required for some countries, but is not required for Italy. Two police certificates (past and pending) and a xerox of the data page of your passport is required for NVC.

We were received an NOA2 approval (for IR-1/CR-1) on 30 June, and just yesterday (29 July) did the NVC indicate they have received it in house, but now we are waiting for entry into the Matrix and receive our number. We'll update when we eventually receive it.

omg..why NVC taking forever.

i call them every night around 10pm. every time they told me something different.

last night i call them she said i need to scan NOA2 & send them on NVC e-mail address.

today i call she said its take more then 20 business day. i ask her why u guys doing like that 15 days, 20 days etc..every single person tell me something different she said i dont why they told u 15days. but i knw its take 20 business days.

omg...can't wait anymore. why some ppl getting within 10 days. how long we have to wait.

The delay not from NVC it is in fact from USCIS. my case was approved 6 weeks ago, and just received by the NVC which they assigned the case number at the same day

Sorry to hear that Dave. I hope it comes very very soon.

I don't know if this was just a coincidence but I called yesterday and raised hell with an operator who told me I couldn't speak to a supervisor. I called back and did tue same thing (maybe a bit more calm and organized) and they promised they would have a supervisor call me. But, as I am abroad (using a skype number as a local us number) I went to sleep way before they closed. And today it was there.

Here is the point I kept making: ok. I have to wait. What is the process that you will use to proceed with my case if this wait period is over and you still haven't issued a case number? (Couldn't get a response from the operator.)

The reasoning being of course that before they kept telling me the case would be there in 15 days and it wasnt, so I have a reason not to believe them.

The final point I was going to make is that we can start that process now, as I have already waited more than 30 days.

Ok, I hope all of you get your numbers soon, I know it is crazy making.

I called NVC few mins ago and spoke to a Jay-R. He was nice and advised to call back after 3 days. He suggsted to prepare the scanned copy of USCIS approval if in case I need to email a request for them to investigate. He was kind enough to wish that I don't have to resort to the latter option.

I just got the infamous "en route" email, so hopefully it should be in the building soon and I'll get my case number.

I love how it gets in the building for some people and NVC lies about it not being there.

I called NVC again today and still no case nunber. They requested for me to once again send a copy of my receipt to the research email address and they will contact USCIS on my behalf. Just sent it so now I'll just sit back and wait some more. This is really pi$$ing me off now. My poor hubby is stuck there with no job no income no nothing. And now we are going to be lucky if we get a September interview... if not October Nothing like our lives being controlled by the ever incompetent US government!

I am pretty sure I missed the September window - not giving up trying! but I am a realist .. Still hopeful for October. I'm crossing my fingers for the rest of you.. They may get the first NVC case number for a July CSC NOA2 this week so they are moving forward at least.

Updated our email addresses. Pleased thats over.

Going to email the DS-3032 now

AVR still states no record.

So I just tried to log on to the NVC payment site as we have both our numbers and I states:

Sign In Failed

The selected Case Number and Invoice Identification Number combination you entered do not match our records. Please try again or click on the Contact the NVC hyperlink if you have forgotten your Case Number or Invoice Identification Number.

What does this mean, have I actually got the numbers wrong or is it also possible that its way to early to be signing in to this as I only got the numbers today. I have already emailed the DS-3032
