did you called and talk to operator to get your case number?

Yes, but I'm a K-1. K-1's are not on the automated system so they must talk to operators. I can't tell you how reliable it is.

K-1's are not held that long at NVC either. They are usually forwarded to the embassy/consulate pretty quickly once arriving at NVC.

Just spoke to operator who said has not received my case and my NOA date is JUNE 23. I am so upset!!! I have called everyday and have sent numerous emails to NVC Research and Inquiry with no response. She said I just have to wait. I asked to speak to a supervisor and she went to transfer me and hung up! I just want to cry. I'm at work and can't keep calling until I get home tonight.

I feel like this whole month has been wasted :ranting:

People keep quoting the 30 days but unfortunatly I think we have hit a point that 30 days is about the best to hope for with the average being closer to 33-34.. That number being the time when a person gets an actual case number, not the "we have it but there is no case number yet".

June 23rd.. You are due any time! Oohhh! That drove me crazy having my paperwork just sitting inbetween USCIS and NVC with zero progress being made... When you say that you have had no response from nvcresearch@state.gov - did you get the automated "we got your message and will get back to you" email? anything beyond that?

i received this message "that your petition is en route to the NVC" on july 14 since that i did not get any update.

It has been pretty consistent answer from NVC Rep. Rep: "case has been received and 10-20 business day..blah blah"...It has been at NVC since Monday...so I am waiting for good news any day now.

Same... recived my case on Monday as well. I think we will get out case numbers by the end of the week tomorrow.

Those emails with the "6-8 weeks" are real demotivators! You are 6/23 it should be any day now.. I for sure would keep calling those operators just to know when it hits the system so you can start a countdown and at least know the wait will be over soon.. I hope you get some good news today or tomorrow... you are due! you are due!

BTW: I saw your honeymoon was in POP.. been there a couple of times, fun town

Drinking town!!!! lol!!!! We had an awesome time. We were at Blue Bay Villas in Playa Dorada. Very nice place. I do like Bavaro Beach better(all the way on the other side of the island) but with all this immigration #######, budget was a bit low
