CSC - NOA2 to NVC Delay

As I understand it, you have to ask again for an expedite at NVC and that it is enough to prove you had an expedite before. You might however have to wait for that case number.

how can we ask for an expedite when nvc havent recieved it ? we got our noa 23rd july, who would we contact regarding this?

Steph1988... I have an expedited case as well... I asked some questions to the NVC rep I spoke with this morning (as she was super nice). She said that a UCSIC expedite ends once approved. Once NVC receices case then we must request another expedite with them. Seeing as how the processing time at NVC seems to be determined by the petitioners sending in docs I am not going to request an expedite with them. She said requesting it can actually slow down the NVC process because a case inquiry has to be opened.

I am so sorry an saddend to see you have waited for so long for your NVC case numbers etc, its crazy how it used to be between 6-20days max after NOA2 before this crazy hold up happened, we had our case expedited, does that mean itl get to NVC quicker or do we have to join the long 4week plus wait just for it to be received?

Depends.

I can see the wait happen and I can see it not happening. It all depends on when it gets out the door at USCIS and when is it received at the processing site at NVC. Once it gets into the system...let the good times roll....

Also you must request an expedite at each site. Meaning, you have to have one for USCIS and once approved it is terminated. You have to file another expedite at NVC.

So...who else has NVC's music and such memorized? I hate when there's a pause, and you think you are going to get through, but really it's just the guy saying "all of our operators are still busy blah blah." I finally was able to call after hours of getting the busy signal (I guess the cat's out of the bag!), but I couldn't wait long enough to talk to someone. I'll call back again tonight and hope for good news!

I have yet to hear the music. Call at 10 PM EST.... I go from the guy telling me "An operator will be with me shortly" to Joe/Jane schmo operator "Can I have your case I.D. number please?"

HAHAHA I have been trying to figure out if the voice is a man or woman. I usually tell the phone rep I have been lulled into submission and I am falling asleep from the subliminal messages in the elevator music.

Update from me: Case approved from CSC on 29th June

Called the NVC today, I had already emailed them a scan of my NOA2 on Friday (22nd). The AVR says they have no record of my case number

The guy said, that the case had been received at NVC. He stated that its takes 15-20 days to be received from CSC then 10-15 days to be entered into their system. (How much of this is true I don't know, but seems to make sense with the current processing times)

He said our case seems to be a couple of days ahead of schedule (whatever) and should be processed by the end of this week.

I'll call the AVR tomorrow, then call an operator on thursday to see if we have a case number yet.

Finally - I was just told that our case was received yesterday. I'm still confused though because this has taken longer than I expected. The rep said that I'll be able to get the INN number in a few days, and that the case will be uploaded in/by 15 days. I'm assuming that once that happens I'll have to wait a few days for the invoices to come through.

So I won't be able to pay for 3 weeks?! Is this correct?

Keep calling them. After you get your case number and IIN. Keep calling them to find out when the DS-3032 is generated. Once you get a go on the generation of the DS-3032., have the beneficiary e-mail it to NVC. This will start the process of IV Packet. Once your case is uploaded into their system (usually when IIN is generated) is when you technically can start the AOS packet process. It just depends right now as the process seems to have run amuck at the current moment.

Slight correction - as soon as you get your NVC Case Numbers, ask your beneficiary to send out the DS-3032 email. They told me that they are processing the emails in the order of receipt and mine sent on 7/22 (NVC Case Number on 7/21) is in the pipe line. I just paid the AOS fee today and will plan to send out my I-864 set in 2 days time. Once our DS-3032 is processed and system updated, I can pay IV Fee and send out the DS-230 packet.

Bottom line - don't wait for DS-3032 email, just send it out as soon as you get your NVC Case number. Check the online access using your NVC Case Number and IIN regularly - the payment web site access is the first thing and then the email gets generated, so you may save a day by checking it.

I saw onerly July 1st approval getting NVC Case Number. looks like NVC is maintaining 30 days.
