Yeah, even when I was asking for IIN#, operator was just making excuses... but she finally gave it to me... but that's interesting why you are getting sign on failure, Is it because of wrong case# provided before by NVC?

That is fine - no need to panic. NVC is preventing sigin till the case full details are entered into their system. I logged in on 7/22 but can't now.

USA

01/08/13 - Approved and GC is order for production on 1/8/14

09/12/13 - Case transferred to CSC. NOA2 received on 09/18/13

08/30/13 - Biometrics Done - No walk ins allowed at this LSC (received on 8/16/13).

08/05/13 - NOA1 (received on 08/10/13)

08/01/13 - Mailed I-751 (received on 8/2/13 - check cashed on 8/5/13)

12/28/11 - Received SSN (applied on 12/20/11, as we didn't get based on DS-230 options)
11/28/11 - Received Green Card (Expires on 10/30/13) - Welcome Letter on 11/17/11
10/30/11 - POE - Houston, TX

Chennai Consulate (40 days)
10/28/11 - Received Visa papers and Passport at VFS
10/25/11 - Interview Cleared Successfully (Spouse was not allowed in)

NVC: (90 days from NOA2 to Consulate)
08/31/11 - Case Completed (Interview 10/25/11) - Received at Chennai on 09/19/11
07/22/11 - NVC Case Number

USCIS: (92 days)

6/21/11 - NOA2 (NOA1 on 3/25/11) - took a month to get to NVC
3/21/11 - I-130 sent to USCIS Lockbox, Chicago.

I just got an email from USCIS that says a service request was opened because I contacted them on June 18.

status of case:

"The file has been forwarded to the National Visa Center on 7/21/2011."

This means the case was sitting at CSC the whole time. Come on NVC! Whoop! whoop!

We are still waiting for Dave & the other June 22-24 to get case #'s. Maybe if we're lucky we will see some movement by the end of the week.

I just got the same line from a rep "it's in the building. Please wait 15 business days for it to be entered into the system." When I said that was too long, and we need that case number in a few days, she said, "check back later in the week and maybe it's there." hhhhh... getting closer....

I got the same " it's in the building" answer about 25 minutes ago. Hopefully something in the next couple days...

I just calculate timeline for you and it might be right....you will get your interview call in OCT2011. If you get your case # today and it will take 30 days to complete the case at NVC then your case will be done on 08/26. So On and before 09/15 they will declare interview call for next month which is Oct....
