After seeing a few June 17th NOA2s at NVC, I hope we see some June 20th NOA2 cases (June 18 & 19 were week end days) at NVC today. All the best to all.

Yes that would be nice!

I also wish people would keep their timelines current - Looking at the I-130 timelines:

seven 6/16 NOA2s with two at NVC

eight 6/17 NOA2s with zero at NVC

five 6/20 NOA2s with zero at NVC

I don't believe it.. Prove it to me and I still won't believe it. -Ford Prefect

Just to commiserate, this CSC-NVC limbo has me sick. Who cares if we got approved faster than other people? We got approved and now our files are lost.

It almost seems like the speedy NOA2 alleviates pressure on CSC to forward the petitions.

If they get the whole process running too efficiently, they cannot justify their budget.

Or something like that.

let's have a group primal yell :bonk:

No, they are not lost. I can say this as after 6/14 NOA2 case received at NVC, there was a pause for 10 days and then in the last two days the 6/15 through 6/17 NOA2s got their cases at NVC - so CSC is delaying sending cases to NVC and our cases are not lost.

I just received my second email (the petition is en route to NVC) and I sent an email to my Congressional Representative request him to help me. Plesae browze this link and you will find a message from A&M providing the text that can be used to sent message to the congressional representatives for their help.

I am Interested of course we are all in the same boat :) My assumption was that the K-1 people do not watch as closely since they do not have any forms to turn in at NVC. They expect a month or two delay so when they hear nothing for a month.. no big deal.. I am glad to see some 6/20 approvals getting through.

I notice nobody is giving good news today....

That was 7/18 I think. I literally don't know of anyone else approved since then. Weird? Or just ignorant?

Do you guys insist on getting some one to talk at NVC, or simply checking the NVC automatic response is good enough to check whether they received? I mean are there cases where the automatic response keeps telling you the files are not received yet, but if you talk to an operator you will find out they actually have your files already?

I always talk to a person.. If they are nice I am nice back and try to talk about the issues.. If they are jerks then I get to take some of my frustration out and tell them they could lower a lot of their calls by just putting out an honest communication and being a little more transparent about the process. Only getting bulk emails on Monday? Tell us.... No more new entries after Wed because the bulk mail has already been processed ? Tell us.. Expecting 30 day delays? Tell us. How many posts have we seen from someone who does not troll the forums here that is having a panic attack thinking they are the only ones having an issue with NVC? A simple "Yeah we are really backed up and it will be 30 days" would alleviate a lot of problems....

On your actual question: I've only seen one person post that the AVR did not have the information but the live person did.. so the time frame between the actual entry and the AVR being updated seems to be fairly short...

This time the woman at NVC told me that "en route" means that once it gets there, it will take 15 business days to show up in the system.

Do you all think that is fair? Should we believe this one?

That's crazy, and to my knowledge, inaccurate based on others' experiences upon arrival at NVC. Sounds like more CYA to me.

seven 6/16 NOA2s with two at NVC

eight 6/17 NOA2s with zero at NVC

compare with Vermont I-130

two 6/22 arrived at NVC 6/29

three 6/23 arrive at NVC 6/24, 6/29, and ?

one 6/27 arrived at NVC 7/8

one 6/28 arrived at NVC 6/30 !!!!! 2 days!

What's wierd it that the last three VT records from early July have not arrived. Either timelines aren't updated, or VT has issues too.

Is it possible that immigration is worried about the debt ceiling issues and anticipates some staged shut-downs like we feared last spring?

Our NOA2 was approved 7/7 so I got another 2 weeks of this :(

Here are two phone numbers for people at CSC I found on the web. they do reach live phones.

USCIS FEEDBACK FORUM

"The Office of Public Engagement is always interested in hearing from you. Please email our Headquarters office to provide feedback on any of our engagements, areas of concern that are not currently being addressed by USCIS, or requests for additional information. Please do not email case-specific questions as this office is unable to provide specific answers or resolve issues."

Email: public.engagement@dhs.gov

Might I suggest we all ask the same 2 questions:

Why are approved I-130 petitions not leaving USCIS California Service Center Records Department "National Visa Center outbound" area?

When can we expect a return to previous traffic flow wherein CSC-approved petitions arrived at NVC within a reasonable time frame?

My congressman's office wrote back and sent me forms to fax in. I hope they can assist with our cases! No luck calling USCIS. They were even nastier. They said if I know it's "en route" that's all they can tell me, and that I can make an appointment with my USCIS local office for more information!
