I'm in the US at the moment and we're going through the paperwork. On the I-129f form it says on number 12, If your fiance is in the country... and I need to put the I-94 number in there.

My question is, we're planning on waiting till I'm out of the country (I'm leaving the 9th July) to file the forms, so should I just leave that part blank, as I will not be in the US when he finishes the package and sends it out?

It doesn't matter whether she left or not. Once she was i the country, you should have to provide that # including the time she got to US and left the country.

Also I don't have an I-94 number? I came on the VWP and only have my ESTA application number and the stamps of arrival and departure dates. I'm really confused sorry :(

My fiance was here at the time we filled out the forms, on the VWP, as well... we dated the forms about a week in advance and posted them after he left. Not sure if that's the 'right' way to do it.

You could always tick the 'yes' box and say 'Entered on VWP'; I've seen a few threads where that advice was given.
