Hi there :)

Kinda late checking in! I registered a while back, but just posting now.

We filed mid June. Just got the I-797 NOA the other day, approved.

We sent the packet to Texas, but the NOA we got recently was sent from Vermont.

I'm going to read the forums tomorrow, and get up to speed with stuff and update my sig with actual dates etc.

Got the letters out now, so I can actually post the dates they arrived.

Our petition was recieved June 10, and the NOA1 is dated June 14. Not sure when it actually arrived in the mail.

We got the approved NOA2 last week (mailed out on September 13 from Vermont).

Congrats Brando M to the NOA2!! Don't forget to make a timeline here on VJ so people can get a more accurate picture of approvals, especially now that there are so few of them.

To the rest of us June filers without a NOA2, I hope for a speedy approval for all of us!! We can do this, hopefully we don't have to wait too much longer...

NOA2 !!! Hi june filers , our petition was approved sept 23rd. So thats 106 days from sent date. Goodluck to all still waiting hang in there. For what it's worth some FYI...our case has never been visible online ( a common issue for Vermont I hear) but when it was approved it is visible online. Also I was registered for text and email updates and have yet to receive any. Jim.

I was thinking the same at what point can we start calling to inquire, I am afraid though only after 5 months you can signal them that it is a problem. THey say 5 months on their website, the fact that most get it in 3 months or so does not mean that we can all request that. I may however call starting october if I dont get it by that time.

CONGRATS TO ALL THAT RECEIVED THEIR NOA2!!!!

I hope you get approved soon. And I know what you mean about working there...I'm still thinking about it. When you do get approved, let me know cause there are a lot of specifics for Thailand that I'm learning right now.

Currently.... they have issued Ice the incorrect GC and we have tried 4 times to fix it. First time they had us send it to the incorrect address. Second time they said we used an expired form, which was the form they gave us. Third time was "oh sorry we lost the last page, can you send it again?." Fourth time is the gov is shut down. Will this ever be corrected in time for Ice to get the permanent GC? Stay tuned to find out. T_T
