Jun 02, 2011- Applied for I-129F (I-129F) Visa

USCIS

Jun 08, 2011- NOA1 Received I-129F

Jun 13, 2011- USCIS Acceptance confirmation (via Email)

Jun 16, 2011- Received NOA1 Hardcopy

Nov 15, 2011- Put in Service Request (Over 5months)

Nov 23, 2011- Response via email to SR (case "Pending")

Nov 28, 2011- Wrote letter to My district's Representative thru webpage (Gregory Meeks)

Dec 02, 2011- Went to the Local Reps office to have them look into the case further

Dec 07, 2011- Wrote email to the vermont service center ( the got back to me Dec 20, of course to tell me I was approved due to the congressman's inquiry)

Dec 08, 2011- Congressman/Local Rep's inquiry made

Dec 09, 2011- USCIS Text/Email with approval (NOA2) 6 months and 2 days

hopefully, the coming week will bring an ever increasing blessings for us JUNE filers...just a note here: called USCIS to get a status check and just said its within normal processing times...i asked why some gets approved earlier and some later... it all depends on the case...very interesting

prolly also depends on the person who answered your call. i guess we're sort of lucky we never got the "you are still within the normal processing times so we cant do anything about it yada yada" response but not very lucky we are so close to our 5th month lol. the person told us to call back on monday to put in a service request. (we called last week and last thursday)

i just hope that we all dont put in service requests...but based on my timeline it says that my case will be adjudicated between oct 21 and oct 30...everday those date changes so im thinking that JUNE filers are being processed now...lets go NOA2's...come to papa

Putting in a service request at the end of your 5-month waiting period does what exactly to your case? Does it make them work harder/faster? Work particularly on your case? Anyone have any details on this?

6 months, 5 days from NOA1 to NOA2; No RFE's.

Contacted local congressman to help expedite case at VSC for NOA2. (Definitely helped!)

I just called USCIS, it is no longer 5 months, they say that they are currently processing March 15th, and one is only considered outside the processing time when the website shows a date that is passed your NOA 1 date. This means that for us June filler is an additional 3 months to the initial 5 months, unless they pick up the work. I was pretty upset after calling USCIs just now. I have also asked about the expedite service request and so you only qualify after what I said above and it means that they would "expedite" the request application.

Check on USCIS processing times tbe for I129F, as of today it says March 15th 2011.
